The LWRC Six8 6.8mm Special is a black modern sporting pistol with a capacity of 30+1 rounds. Developed as part of the Enhanced Rifle Cartridge program, this pistol is chambered in the 6.8x43mm SPC II cartridge, known for its enhanced terminal performance compared to the 5.56x45mm NATO round. To address the challenge of reliable magazines for the 6.8mm cartridge, LWRCI collaborated with Magpul to create a specialized magazine designed specifically for this caliber. The Six8-Pistol features an LWRCI High Efficiency Flash Hider, a short-stroke gas piston system, an Enhanced Fire Control Group, a nickel-boron coated bolt carrier, and fully ambidextrous controls. It is tailored for the 6.8mm cartridge with an enlarged ejection port, an Advanced Combat bolt, and optimized feeding geometry.
